Current Characters: a fuck ton.
Character: Pamela Lillian Isley
Fandom: Batman
Character Notes:History: I'm basically going to summarize wikipedia shit for you k.
She grew up to rich but distant parents in Seattle, studied botanical biochem with Woodrue. Woodrue fucks her over and injects her with some fucked up shit that turns her into Poison Ivy. It's like really nasty shit, so she almost dies and goes crazy. She gets like permanent PMS, kills her boyfriend, and runs away to Gotham where all the crazy people congregate.
She kicks up her shit with poison spores in the first year of Batman's reign and Batman is like bitch I'll cut you and she's like fuck man. Basically, after a lot of attempts to poison and make people's lives suck and rob banks and shit, she admits she just wants to get enough money to go live somewhere remote all alone with her plants because she's not actually amused by her sexy time seductions, she just really wants to be a hermit with her plants because she soulbonds with them.
Oh and she breaks out of Arkham a lot with plant shit. Because it's fun. Also, she hates Edward Nygma and Hush a lot. And she had bonding time with Tim Drake. And, she doesn't like Joker because he's mean to Harley, who is her total bff. This is the best history ever.
Personality: Pam is kind of fucked up and by kind of I mean really because she is obviously fucked by being in and out of Arkham and the fact that she's a crazy bitch because of Woodrue. She's a man-eater, because Woodrue and her boyfriend were like bitch and she takes its out on everyone with her crazy fucking poison lips and shit. She is characterized by mood swings like a hormonal pregnant bitch because one minute she's sweet and maternal and serene and the next she is a crazy fucking bitch.
She often acts in a way that she knows is appealing to men in general because she likes to lure them into her traps, but she's also extremely narcissistic, immature and prideful because she gets like personally and morally offended when Batman doesn't submit to her bullshit and it sends her over the edge and she needs people to love her even though she'd rather just be alone with her plants.
Plants are the only people Ivy trusts because she got fucked over by so many people in her lives but plants aren't like humans and they don't have the possibility to betray you.
She's actually really protective of Harley in a motherly way, and also when she has her own posse of lost boys in the middle of Gotham Central Park, she shows a maternal instinct like that of which she holds over her plants, which contributes to the idea that she likes to take care of things and feel needed. Being relied on is nice.
Other: She's got mad crazy plant powers like an expertise in botany and toxicology, ecokinesis, secreting toxins through her skin (particularly lips), immunity to all toxins and bacteria and viruses, and a weird telepathic link with plants. And, yes, I'm chill with playercesting with myself so she and Bruce/Batman can chill. And, I apologize that this app is the least serious thing I've ever written but I'm just honestly plowing through this shit because summarizing the entirety of her canon is like the worst thing of my life. I downloaded and read every appearance she makes in canon sob, but it's not worth summarizing all of them because of ret-con and shit anyway. I'm gonna take her from right after the Hush arc.

First Person (entry type): Apparently, a company that has been pouring waste into Gotham Harbor was sabotaged last night. All of their research material was stolen, and thousands of dollars in damages were made to their factory.
Really it was only to be expected, I suppose; when you're killing dozens of aqueous plants with your pollution, you're bound to
piss someone off. It's too bad - from what I hear, a lot of people were hurt.
I don't understand the inability of a compromise between environmentalism and scientists. Where do you fall? Is scientific progress impossible to achieve without destroying the plantlife - is it worth the cost? Or, should we be doing everything we can to preserve and respect the environment around us?
I'm interested in a third party opinion on the matter; I, myself, am irrevocably biased. But, I think with the way plants have been treated, I have a right to be.
Third Person:Lying in a cell in Arkham was not a hobby of Ivy's. She rarely got roomed with Harley, and when she did, it was only so close that they could speak through a wall. She was allowed to keep plants only when it was determined that they could produce no pheromones or poisons for her to cause 'problems' with. This time, she was lying in a room with Magpie. The girl was an idiot, and her inability to shut up and leave Ivy to her textbooks was driving her up a wall.
Not to mention the sad excuse for therapy. There was no middle ground - either useless idiots rambling about how that made her feel, or ungodly experiments that were unethical but 'federally approved' exclusively for Arkham Asylum. Not that it was surprising to Ivy - the same people who prevented her from treating her plants well turned out to treat their inmates like shit as well. It became almost routine for her to spend periods of time there, and only when things got truly terrible did she bother breaking herself out and now - when Magpie was blathering in her ear again - she'd concluded it was time to leave.
Sadly, the quality of care there really made it that simple. Once you decided to leave, it was only a matter of time before the cell was mysteriously found empty. Especially for Poison Ivy. By the next morning, she was gone.
